Bezienswaardigheden / tips 2026:

1) Cernobbio: Cernobbio is een klein stadje van luxe met een strategische positie voor een bezoek aan Como. Door zijn ligging is het één van de gemakkelijkst te bereiken dorpen aan het hele Comomeer. Eeuwenlang was Cernobbio de favoriete reisbestemming van de aristocaratie uit Como en Milaan aan het Comomeer. De erfenis vanuit het verleden ligt tegenwoordig verspreid over de stad, bezaaid met oude villa's en tuinen. Maar Cernobbio kan ook een trendy en levendige plek zijn. 

2) Villa Bernasconi Museum: Villa Bernasconi is een typisch voorbeeld van een vrijstaande villa met een torentje in art-nouveaustijl. Het werd in opdracht van de textielfabrikant Davide Bernasconi gebouwd. Het werd gebouwd voor 1905, niet direct aan het meer maar niet ver van de textielfabriek van Bernasconi. De inrichting van de villa is geïnspireerd op de textielindustrie met vormen van vlinders en zijderupsen. Vandaag de dag is Villa Bernasconi een museum en de toegang is 10,00 euro per volwassenen. Als het donker wordt is de villa te bewonderen in diverse kleuren.

3) Kerk van San Vincenzo: De kerk van San Vincenzo ligt in het historische deel van de stad. De oorsprong van de kerk dateert uit 1150 en was klein en bescheiden.  De romaanse kerk werd herbouwd tussen 1758 en 1775 en ingewijd door bisschop Mugiasca. De rood witte gevel in barokstijl werd gebouwd in 1861 dankzij de inspanningen en schenkingen van meneer Gianorini, woonachtig in Cernobbio. De entree is gratis en de kerk is open vanaf 08.00 tot 18.00 uur.

4) Wandelroute Sentée di Sort: De wandelroute start officieel in Rovenna maar er is een mogelijkheid om de route te starten vanuit Cernobbio. De wandeling van Cernobbio naar Rovenna duurt ongeveer 45 minuten voordat je het pad bereikt. Je kunt ook de auto parkeren bij de begraafplaats en vanaf hier de wandelroute volgen. Het eerste deel van het wandelpad leidt naar een panoramisch punt van waaruit je kunt genieten van een prachtig uitzicht. Er is ook een mogelijkheid om de bus terug te nemen naar Cernobbio.

1) Cernobbio: Cernobbio is a small town of luxury with a strategic position for visiting Como. Due to its location, it is one of the easiest villages to reach on Lake Como. For centuries, Cernobbio was the favorite travel destination of the aristocracy from Como and Milan on Lake Como. Today, the legacy of the past is scattered throughout the city, dotted with ancient villas and gardens. But Cernobbio can be a trendy and lively place too.

2) Museo Villa Bernasconi: Villa Bernasconi is a typical example of a detached villa with an art nouveau style turret. It was built on behalf of the textile manufacturer Davide Bernasconi. It was built before 1905, not directly on the lake but not far from the Bernasconi textile factory. The interior of the villa is inspired by the textile industry with shapes of butterflies and silkworms. Villa Bernasconi is a museum and admission is 10.00 euro per adult. When it gets dark, the villa can be admired in various colors.

3) Church of San Vincenzo: The Church of San Vincenzo is located in the historic part of the city. The church's origins date back to 1150 and it was small and modest. The Romanesque church was rebuilt between 1758 and 1775 and inaugurated by bishop Mugiasca. The red and white baroque facade was built in 1861 thanks to the efforts and donations of Mr. Gianorini, who lives in Cernobbio. The entrance is free and the church is open from 08.00 to 18.00.

4) Trail Sentée di Sort: The hiking route officially starts in Rovenna but there is a possibility to start the route from Cernobbio. The hike from Cernobbio to Rovenna takes about 45 minutes before you reach the trail. You can also park the car at the cemetery and follow the trail from here. The first part of the hiking trail leads to a panoramic point from which you can enjoy a beautiful view. There is also a possibility to take the bus back to Cernobbio.

De gerestaureerde Villa Bernasconi is een juweel dat nu toegankelijk is voor het publiek. Het is de villa zelf die zijn verhaal verteld en bezoekers langs een route leidt om de geschiedenis en de mensen die hier ooit woonden te ontdekken. In de avonduren kleurt de villa in verschillende kleuren.

                          Bij de toeristen is de kerk van San Vincenzo één van de bekendste kerken in Cernobbio.
